I used NotebookLM to generate a podcast about my post “Notes with Zettelkasten” and loved the result. Read the post, then listen to what the model produced. I was impressed by the audio quality and the back-and-forth between the two voices. It reminded me of Jon Radoff’s Metavert Meditations article “The Direct from Imagination Era Has Begun”, which introduces the chart below on where generative AI may be most disruptive.

I won’t argue whether those industries will actually be reshaped—many people still prefer content that is verifiably 100% human-made.
